Some photos from Moleskine Panda II

I'm back in NYC!!! It felt great to walk out of the terminal onto the street. It was so COLD! Ahhh I loved it. I think it's going to snow tonight=I am excited.
Through some amazing stroke of luck I got bumped up to business class on my flight back...and dude. They fucking treat you WELL. They pass out personal movie/TV/music video players. I saw The Apartment and part of Hairspray. And they kept on freaking asking me if I wanted wine. Sigh, the life of the elite.
I really liked The Apartment. It was a romance but it wasn't really romantic...maybe because the girl character put a up a strong front. I like how it was anti-romantic because of her. I can appreciate that.
There was one scene where the Baxter, the protagonist, picks up a random girl at a bar and is dancing with her. It's closing time and they're both pretty drunk, and they're just waltzing around to the beat of the music, hunched over, with just their cheeks glued to each other. And they have the most awesome/hilarious looks on their faces, something like nonchalance/drunken numbness. Reminds me of really awkward eighth graders dancing or something...trying not to make a big deal out of something they can't really control (in this case, because they're drunk). I don't know, I just loved that scene, even though in the grand scheme of the story it doesn't really do a whole lot.
Mmm home. Tomorrow I will brave the weather and go get tickets to Carnegie Hallll (as requested by my Ma, who is still in LA).
